What is a Medium?

A medium is whatever is in the middle, the in between, the relayer of information or expression from one place, or person, or more to another. If you consider the author and consider the reader, then the book would be the Medium, the transference of information from one person to another.

However a Spirit Medium, is considered specifically to be the person in the middle, the in between and the relayer of information or expression from one person or collective who exists in the Spirit vibrations to the person who is here on earth who is the recipient of the information.

The Medium connects between these two or more vibrations, or two or more worlds for the purpose of communication in some form. This form may be through the vehicle of verbal expression, art or creativity, thought or images, or physical manifestation.

Of course this information has to be accepted, make sense and be evidential to the recipient and quality Mediumship should provide no less than this.

Mediumship is the art or skill applied to make the communication take place.

It is about communication, however there are many ways in which this can take place.

A NATURAL ABILITY

It is natural is it not for two animals of the same breed to communicate with each other, two elephants are involved in their own form of communication, two cats communicate, two humans communicate either verbally, by gesture, by writing etc, then why wouldnt two Spirits be able to communicate?

Our Spirit whithin as human beings and Spirits from the Spirit world naturally communicate also.

True Mediumship communication must surely be at its best when we as individuals and human beings connect to our own Spirits within, who will in turn communicate with Spiritual vibrations. One Spirit to another, so to speak. This makes absolute sense.

It also shows that anyone can be a Medium to some degree as we all have a Spirit within and can naturally connect to those in Spirit. Of course not all people will be relayers of the information but can receive it Spiritually at some level, even although they may not be conscious of it. Many people with good ideas have been Spiritually inspired. Therefore all people can be Spiritually inspired.

Mediumship works best when the Medium is in connection with his or her own Spirit within. This is why it is so important due to the developing Medium to understand this and receive proper quality training and good teachings, which I'm afraid, are few and far between.

It is not as simple as communication or relaying information or expression, it is also of great importance that it is done correctly, morally, diplomatically, with love and care and to a very high standard. This should be a beautiful and enriching experience for all involved.
