Physical Mediumship

The medium is able to largely contribute to those in spirit who's aim is to communicate physically which means the communication happens in our physical world for everyone present to see, hear, smell or feel. In this case those in spirit work to make their presence known and to do this they need a suitable energy or ectoplasm (a usually white, cloudy like substance) is produced by the medium with the help of the sitters. This phenomenon can also happen without ectoplasm with the use of other energy. There are different categories of Physical phenomena which are described by the events that take place. An example of some of these types of phenomenon are apports, direct voice, materialisation, breezes and levitation.

(There are very few physical mediums in the world and it is a very delicate ability to have, the medium needs to be extremely aware of surrounding energy both from Spirit and here on earth.
